Tour Itinerary :

Day 01 : Delhi (TUE): On arrival at the airport you will be received and transferred to hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Tour Enquiry

Day 02 :(WED) Delhi-Taj Mahal-Delhi : Move out for full day sight seeing of Agra and visit the Taj Mahal and Agra Fort. Overnight in Delhi.

Day 03: (THU) New Delhi-Raipur-Kawardha: Board the morning flight to Raipur. On arrival at Raipur Airport you will be received and then drive straight to Kawardha (Distance 150 kms/ Approx time 3.5 hrs) and check-in to the hotel. After fresh up visit to Bhoramdeo ancient temples and later if time permits visit some nearby ethnic villages. Bharamdeo temple was built in the period of 7 to 11 century A.D. This Shiva Linga in the temple is beautifully carved and the artistic appeal beckons the visitors. The Bhoramdeo temple has a resemblance with the Sun temple of Konark & the Khajuraho temple and that is why it is also called the Khajuraho of Chhattisgarh. Overnight at the hotel. (Raipur is in Chattisgarh and starting point of the chattisgarh tribal tours)

 

Day 04 : (FRI): Kawardha-Raipur (Distance 280 kms/Approx time 6-7hrs)
After the breakfast check-out and drive to Raipur. En-route visit the villages of Baiga & Gond tribes. Baiga tribes are very good in basket making from the bamboo plant and tattooing is an integral part of their life style. Later proceed to the colorful weekly market of Baiga tribes at Taregaon (50kms/1hrs one way from Kawardha. Weekly market commence on Friday only). On arrival at Raipur check-in the hotel. DAY 05(SAT):  Raipur-Rajim-Kanker (200km/5hrs)

After the breakfast check-out and drive to Rajim known as Prayagraj in Chhattisgarh for abundance of temples along the river confluence.  Rajim is popular for Rajib Lochan temples and many other temples and ashram. After the lunch proceed to Kanker,  en-route visit some ethnic  villages and the site of rock paintings which are located in the middle of the woodland at Urkuda. Over night at Kanker. 

 

DAY 06 (SUN): Kanker-Jagdalpur (250 kms/5.00hrs)

After the breakfast drive to Jagdalpur. En-route visit the tribal craft communities at Kondagaon (Bell metal, Wrought Iron & Terracotta) and visit the weekly market at Kondagaon.  (weekly market commence on Sunday).  You may visit the tribal market of Narayanpur (50kms/1hrs from Kondagaon) (visit to the Narayanpur is subject to the police permission), famous in world wide for its beautiful colour, vigour and cockfight.  (weekly market commence on Sunday only).  Overnight at Jagdalpur.

DAY 07(MON):  Jagdalpur-Chitrakoot-Jagdalpur (50kms/1hrs one way)

After the leisure filled breakfast  drive to Chitrakoot falls-a natural waterfall on the Indravati River. Later visit to villages of Bison-Horn Maria tribe-popular for their weaving and dance.  After the lunch visit to tokapol weekly market . Return  Jagdalpur by evening. DAY 08 (TUE): Jagdalpur-Delhi-Departure (250kms/6.00hrs)

After the breakfast you will be transferred to the airport to board the flight for Delhi. On arrival in Delhi board the return flight.   The Tour ends.
